DIAPHRAGMATIC BREATHING ON BACK

Sets: 1

Reps: 20

  • Lie on your back with your knees bent.

  • Inhale through the nose and allow the ribcage to open and expand. You’ll feel a little movement in your chest, lateral ribs and abdomen.

  • Relax and lengthen the pelvic floor picturing “flowers blooming”.

  • Exhale and let the chest, ribs and abdomen recoil back to their starting position.

  • Focus on connecting to your breath and promoting expansion and relaxation here. Don’t worry about lifting or contracting.
